Help us go to Dayton 2017
Donated so far

Aftermath Percussion is the flagship organization of Lehigh Valley Performance Concepts, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit independent indoor drumline largely administered and taught by volunteers. Consisting of 27 students from ages 12-22 from the Lehigh Valley, Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey, percussion brings together this diverse group and unites them to share a love of performance and percussion while pursuing excellence. Independent drumlines are not directly affiliated with a school, therefore they must purchase their own instruments, store them and transport them to rehearsal sites and performances.

The indoor drumline season begins with auditions in October and continues until late April. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons starting in December.  It is not unusual for the group to practice 15 or more hours per weekend for 15 weekends in a row. This requires a large commitment from the members as well as the staff. In order to have the funds for the organization to operate, the staff volunteers their time and members pay dues.

Competing in the Winter Guard International World Championships in Dayton, Ohio, is a highlight in the lives of Aftermath members. The best indoor percussion ensembles in the world participate in the competition that takes place in a large arena.  Aftermath has made finals for the past two seasons and it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience.  The members and staff of Aftermath hope that you will support our 2017 Campaign to Dayton! Thank you in advance for your support.
